New Water Project in Malawi!
Right now, 30% of all wells in Malawi are broken. Instead of repeating the mistakes of history, EWB is transforming the process. We are working with local Malawian Government Officers to change methods for identifying wells in need of repair. We are giving the mechanics repairing the wells the tools to do their jobs more effectively.
All donations towards the project will be matched.

-
Helping Engineers Serve a Global Society
We see an engineering profession that is better aware of its potential for positive impact on the world and is better equipped to bring about that change. -
Connected and Contributing Canadians
With the other EWB chapters across Canada, we will create a broad movement of Canadians that are connected to Africans, see Africa in a positive light, and contribute. -
Supporting Rural African Capacity
We see stronger and more independent African institutions with the capacity to deliver innovative ideas in agriculture, water and sanitation, and rural infrastructure. -
Advocating for Improved Canadian Policies
We will advocate for government policies that work in the best interests of the one billion people in the world with the least voice, and that will restore Canada's reputation as a leader in international development.
